Telemachus - Sidi Ifni

This album was a favourite find from Bandcamp at the end of last year, 'In Morocco' by Telemachus. The story goes that he travelled to the country and immersed himself in the culture and recorded there over many months to create this find blend of hip-hop, middle eastern samples, live instruments and a radio broadcast from years ago. It's a fresh take on blending beats with middle eastern sounds without sounding like a plagiarist. This video just shows him horsing around in the mountains, desert and small quiet towns, nothing special but adds personal character to his sound.

Vienna Ditto - Feeling Good

Fat White Family - Heaven On Earth

These guys are buzzing pretty hard right now and it's not due to the quality of their videos. Although this clip is funny it's their raw, ragged and dirty garage rock that's whipping up a frenzy alongside some riotous live shows. In fact their amusingly named "Tour Of Struggle" will commence on February 14th in Brighton if you happen to be in the UK and want to get sweaty. And you do.

September Girls are an all-girl five pieces, hyphen encouraging garage pop band from Dublin with influences heavily indebted to MBV, Indigo Girls, Lush and the 90s shoegaze sound. 'Heartbeats' is the first single to be taken from the forthcoming Fortuna POP! album.

Feral Future - College

Feral Future are from Austin, Texas, featuring three gals & a guy, Their ragged punk rock recalls a faster, brattier  Royal Trux and they're performing at SXSW this year. I love the lo-fi messiness of this video for 'College'.
