Its hard to imagine that Jane's Addiction would not only continue to make music, but that their members would survive the 90s at all. These days it's a very different story, like Metallica, the band are more yoga and smoothies than heroin and groupies but that hasn't diminished their tremendous ingenuity and power as a rock band as the nlead single 'End To The Lies' shows. The press release makes the video out to be a "dazzling feast for the eyes", but it's just some shonky animation over boobs. A shame as they've released some superb clips in their time, from Strays era - 'Just Because', to Ritual De Lo Habitual classics like, 'Been Caught Stealing'. "The Great Escape Artist" is out in Autumn and features; TV On The Radio, Maximum Balloon and LA defected uber-producer Dave Sitek on bass! Former bass player Chris Chaney recorded parts too & will return as the band's live player. Diggity.
