Back in 2002, the Nickelodeon series SpongeBob SquarePants aired an episode called "Party Pooper Pants" that featured a puppet band, consisting mainly of birds, called the Bird Brains. This cartoon nod to the Bad Brains - complete with Bad Brains-esque logo on the kick-drum - not only pays homage to the seminal punk band, but the producers managed to get Lux Interior of The Cramps to take on the vocal duties for the fictional band.
