The Computers - Music is Dead

The Computers are a blues drenched punk rock band from Exeter, who have recently released their debut album, This Is The Computers. They recorded the album in San Diego with John 'Speedo' Reiss (Rocket from The Crypt, Hot Snakes & Drive Like Jehu) and delivered 24 minutes of pure punk rock ecstasy. Its Hot Snakes whose influence you can hear most here, but like peers Ghost Of A Thousand, they haven't forgone their Englishness. It's rough, powerful and drunken - like the Buzzcocks (whose 35th Birthday Bash they played) and Johnny Rotten in the glory days.

This video is from the last song on the album, Music Is Dead.
