I should've started this feature last week before ATP in Butlins, but here goes anyway...
Each Friday I'll pick a video (or two) from a band performing at one of the many UK or European music festivals across Summer. Perhaps it might even entice you to pick up a last minute ticket?
First up is Liverpool Sound City, one I really wanted to go to but the cat just wan't having any of that.
I'll have to put my Forest Swords 'Dagger Paths E.P' on and enjoy from afar then. I'd love to see how this is put together live and brought to life on stage with some of the visual treatment in this video for example would be incredible.

If you like this, check out the 'Frjee Feather E.P' consisting of early Forest Swords demo material, remastered by Mikko Gordon and released on limited edition white vinyl 12" via London label No Pain In Pop. All money raised from the release will be donated to the red cross's tsunami recovery efforts in Japan. the red cross is currently helping over 280,000 people in the country move from shelters into temporary pre-fabricated housing, providing them with domestic items and the means to return to a normal life following March's disaster.
