You may have seen Riff Raff before, specifically in a video I posted here featuring on an Action Bronson tune, 'Bird On A Wire'. He's a nut, covered in Viacom logos and very very high. Think what you may but this is a great song contrasted with a very strange video. Respect for augmenting Plain White T's - Hey There Delilah, too.

ACTiON BRONSON & RiFF RaFF SODMG - Bird On A Wire
I just caught this through a Nardwuar interview, and if you don't know who Nardwuar is, get to know. Action Bronson is from Flushing, Queens, New York and is getting a lot of heat at SXSW this year.
Hype aside, I've only go this to go on so far and I'm in. And this Riff Raff character is coming with a style I haven't seen since 'Hypercolour' and 'Rip N Tear'. I'm certain he's one of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reincarnated.
There's no doubt this is all sort of silly; the spliffs hanging out Bronson's mouth, Riff Raff all over, the melodic hook, but hell, it works. And if you insist on sunscribing to all those hip hop cliches, you might as well fuck with them, right?
