Blues Funeral, the new Mark Lanegan Band record, is officially out now. The first record since 2004's Bubblegum, Blues Funeral was recorded in Hollywood, California by Alain Johannes at his 11ad studio with appearances from Greg Dulli, Josh Homme et al. And he's on tour throughout Europe in support.
Director Alistair Legrand creates an eerie but beautiful video for 'The Graveyard Song', filled with masks, distortion, slow-motion and spot-lighting, he shows horror in a Hitchcock mold rather than Eli Roth. A perfect complement to the dark rolling blues beast that is 'The Graveyard Song'.
