There is a new British retro-soul kid on the block, but before you scroll away I implore you to give Michael Kiwanuka a chance. Its not just his Bill Withers meets the Temptations vocal comparisons, but the production of Bees member, Paul Butler, that raises this song (and the E.P) above pastiche onto par with the aforementioned artists and others like Terry Callier and Marvin Gaye.
