This video is based on the WW2-themed novel by Kurt Vonnegut and off the French, but London-based band's Mercury nominated album, "Silence Yourself". The winners for which will be announced Wednesday (30/10/13) night incidentally.

Savages - Shut Up
What fine thing an immaculately shot live video can be. I haven't seen Savages live yet but this captures the bright energy of a band who have a lot to say and nothing to prove. I was hooked on Jehnny Beth's spoken word intro before they had even played a note.
Find this tune and others on Savages debut album 'Silence Yourself', out May 6th.
