California's The Neighbourhood may spell like they're an English band, but they are most certainly more diner than Greasy Spoon. Take this monochromatic video from their album "I Love You" for example. It's Hipstimatic aesthetic is that same brand of Levis freedom Lana Del Rey sells. But lets not get too cynical here, apparently it's an identity frontman Jesse Rutherford insists on rather than an image borne out of a marketing think tank. I like the song, a lot, the album though strays to far into the commercial rock realm for my tastes but I'm sure we'll be hearing plenty more from this band of black and white bros.
