Topping many album polls from last year, Unknown Mortal Orchestra's self-titled album was an indie psych freak-out from former Mint Chicks man, Ruban Nielson. And when you listen to the Mint Chicks last material you can hear where some of this could've been heading, minus the power pop.
Maybe it's just the skulls, neon veins and glowing eyeballs in their next video, I like.
