Peaking Lights is husband and wife duo, Aaron and Indra from Rah Dunes & Numbers. They've relocated from the Bay Area to Madison, Wisconsin and have have just released their debut album, 936. Peaking Lights is typified by tape loops, synth, echo - essentially dub, mixed with the vocal harmonies and melodies of guitar pop. It's a bewitching sound which at once draws you in and simultaneously keeps you at arms length with it's swirling narcotic ambience. They don't appear to have released a video yet but this piece from Motherboard TV shows them (particularly Aaron) at work in their basement stripping old electronic equipment to use as modulators and finally, attempting to pare down all this gadgetry for a live tour.
